GLEN GRACIA, VICE PRESIDENT, CONSUMER & NON-PROFIT PRACTICE Glen Gracia is a results-focused public relations professional with more than a decade of experience working with clients from small non-profit organizations to entrepreneurial start-ups to global giants in the consumer, health care, technology, and business-to-business markets. As the Vice President for the consumer and non-profit practice at Bishoff Communications, Glen’s clients include the McDonald’s account – a regional co-op of family-owned businesses in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. His team is charged with increasing positive awareness of McDonald’s quality, employment image, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern New England, and balanced, active lifestyle focus. This is achieved through solid media relations, partnerships, and special event execution. In addition, Glen and his team are responsible for providing twenty-four hour media crisis support for the local McDonald’s restaurants. The team also manages the Joslin Diabetes Center account. Glen’s passion for obtaining media coverage has helped his clients meet their business goals and garner broadcast and print exposure in high-profile outlets such as USA Today, Investor’s Business Daily, Washington Post, The Boston Globe, and the CBS “Early Show” in addition to many other local print and broadcast outlets as well targeted industry trade publications. Glen’s creativity and his focus on results and attention to detail have helped his clients increase their exposure and change perceptions. Previously, Glen served as an Account Supervisor for Blanc & Otus/Hill & Knowlton, where he provided strategic PR counsel to global companies such as Compaq and Hewlett Packard, as well as entrepreneurial start-ups. There, Glen managed worldwide teams and product launches, oversaw media relations, provided trade show support and secured speaking opportunities for his clients. Prior to this position, he worked at Brodeur Worldwide on consumer technology accounts such as 3M Post-it Notes and Flags, and IBM's ViaVoice speech recognition technology. Glen is a graduate of Stonehill College, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications and a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education. He currently resides inWeymouth, MA with his wife Nicole, and their three children Alex, Sam and Emma.
