JANEY BISHOFF, CEO

Janey Bishoff is a highly creative and visionary communications leader with the perspective of over twenty years in business and government and a passion for working closely with clients to help them grow their businesses or organizations through strategic communications programs.

She has a depth of experience gained through hands-on work with clients in a wide range of industries and sectors including:  real estate, architecture/engineering/construction, health care, retail, hospitality, as well as other business to business and business to consumer companies, non-profit organizations, and government. 

As an advisor who provides high level strategic and crisis counsel, Ms. Bishoff has a keen ability to understand an organization’s needs and create marketing and communications solutions designed to meet those needs and impact the bottom line.  She then leads her firm in implementing top quality communications programs that deliver results.

Her work has been honored with numerous awards for excellence throughout the past fifteen years including a Clarion Award from Women in Communications; The Communicator Awards-Award of Distinction; the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC); the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International Adrian Advertising/Golden Bell Public Relations Award for Merit; Society for Marketing Professional Services Communications Excellence Award; Bulldog Media Relations Awards; SABRE; the McDonald’s Corporation Best Bets;  Bronze Anvil Awards-- Public Relations Society of America (PRSA); and numerous awards from the Publicity Club of New England.

An active member of the community, Janey is also involved in efforts to ensure the region’s future economic prosperity.  As a member of the Board of Directors of the Boston History and Innovation Collaborative since its inception, she helped this non-profit alliance of business, academic, and community leaders, as well as historians, unveil a first-of-its-kind report, Innovate Boston! Shaping Our Future from the Past: Four Amazing Centuries of Innovation.  According to the Report, these drivers prescribe conditions that must be nurtured to ensure Greater Boston’s vibrant economic future.

She also serves on the Boards of the Boston Museum, Boston Ronald McDonald House, the Anti-Defamation League and the American Jewish Committee.  Her memberships in many professional, civic, and community organizations include The Boston Club, the Commonwealth Institute, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Boston Society of Architects, Boston Women Communicators, and the Society for the Marketing of Professional Services (SMPS). 

A sought-after speaker, Ms. Bishoff has participated in a wide variety of forums examining the relationship between the media and public relations during a crisis, particularly as public perception of corporations and institutions is impacted. She has provided commentary on NBC’s The Today Show, FoxTV, Bloomberg News Service, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, and on local broadcast outlets.

Ms. Bishoff holds a Masters Degree in Urban Studies & Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  In 2000, she was elected to the Collegium of Distinguished Alumni of the College of Arts and Sciences at Boston University.
